What Is COLD ROLLED STEEL COIL ?

During the cold rolling process, the hot rolled steel coil is first descaled to remove any mill scale or impurities from the surface. It is then passed through a series of rolling mills that progressively reduce the thickness of the steel. This process imparts several key characteristics to the steel:

Smoother surface finish: Cold rolling produces a smoother and more refined surface compared to hot rolled steel. This makes cold rolled steel coil suitable for applications where appearance is important or where further surface treatments, such as painting or coating, will be applied.
